Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with legislative, contractual, and engineering standards in the delivery of Lifecycle & Variation services.
- Implement a proactive, cost-effective Contractor management strategy to ensure timely project delivery.
- Manage risks and fulfill contractual obligations on behalf of the company and clients.
- Control lifecycle & variation expenditure and income to meet budgetary requirements, while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure subcontractors are trained in health and safety protocols and adhere to guidelines.
- Generate accurate management reports, data, and forecasts.
- Act as Project Manager for Contracts clients and internal stakeholders regarding building and asset management services.
- Oversee performance management of Contractors and personnel involved in project delivery.
- Collaborate with Service Partners to deliver customer-focused and cost-efficient variation services.
- Conduct regular service delivery audits to maintain agreed standards.
- Prepare tender documents and specifications in line with industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety plans, addressing issues as necessary.
Skills:
- Previous project management experience with PFI contracts.
- Ability to manage budgets exceeding £1m and individual projects over £100k.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Valid driving license required.
