Electrical Bias Shift Engineer

Our customer are one of the largest names within cthe UK commercial building services maintenance, with a porfolio of contracts across commercial office space, retail and critical services sectors. They currently have a requirement for an electrical bias M&E shift engineer, working on a 24/7 "continental" shift pattern, covering days and nights as part of a multi-skilled engineering team responsible for upkeep of the electrical, mechanical and general building services systems across the building for both landlord and tenant areas. Salary for this position is £45k plus a £3,000 shift allowance, and on top of this is guaranteed OT in the form of shift cover as well as training schemes.
Candidates must be fully qualifie in electrical engineering, ideally through a full apprenticeship, and with at least five years of experience within commercial building services maintenance. Along with core qualifications, additional training such as 18th Edition, 2391, LV/HV awareness, L8 training, etc will all be beneficial. Particular working experience should extend to:
Electrical Fault-Finding, Single & Three Phase Power, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarms, BMS Operation, Motors, Pumps, Air Handling & Fan Coil Units, LV Distribution, Diesel Generator Checks, 1st line Chiller / Boiler maintenance, Water Treatment, etc.
This contract has recently been renewed, making it a stable environment for an ambitious and enthusiastic electrical-bias engineer to make a name for themselves.
