We’re recruiting for an Estates Manager role look after the FM services on a beloved Manchester land-mark building. Working at 37.5 hour week, your role will centre around managing TFM services across the site which are managed largely by external subcontractors. Completing checks and surveys of the buildings, you will ensure both hard and soft service maintenance are completed on time through the CAFM and to a high standard.
Duties of the role include:
- Managing Engineering, Projects, Cleaning and Security across a large site.
- Managing the site’s CAFM system and job log.
- Managing the relationship with external contractors and service providers to ensure a cost effective and well delivered services.
- Ensuring all FM services are completed within health and safety standards and working to a high standard of compliance across the site.
- Overseeing all engineering and construction project work on the site and on completion doing a work survey and completing a snagging list.
- Working with senior management team to ensure FM and building works are delivered around the end users in a seamless manner.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Experience working as an FM or Estates Manager on a large complex estate
- Experience of delivering a TFM service with both experience in direct labour staff and subcontractors.
- Outgoing and driven personality
- Pride for the site you will be working on and ownership of delivering an excellent service for it’s customers.
- Ability to manage busy and complex workloads
- NEBOSH is very desirable
