Installation and Commissioning Engineer
Monday to Friday, 40 hour week
Up to £40,000 plus overtime and door to door travel

Due to continued growth and our commitment to the highest standards of installation, service and support we require an additional INSTALLATION & COMMISSIONING ENGINEER with previous hands-on technical experience to play a key role in ensuring our standards are maintained, and to contribute to the ongoing development of the business along with opportunities to develop and progress for the right individual.
Roles and Responsibilities as an Installation & Commissioning Engineer -
- Carry out installation & commissioning works to support the delivery of projects and small works
- Completion of clear & accurate work reports and commissioning certificates.
- Good problem-solving skills, fault-finding skills, and analytical thinking.
- Customer focused and the ability to resolve customer queries.
- Provide a high level of customer service to clients and maintain the highest standards of quality.
- Carry out site surveys to assist with small works quotations.
Skills and Experience needed -
- Good technical knowledge of networked fire alarm systems.
- Experience working with Gent, Advanced, Ziton and Aspirating Systems (Vesda, FAAST, Securiton).
- Knowledge of BS5839 and BAFE is essential.
- FIA qualifications (FIA Units or Foundation route).
- Conversant with regulations and standards in relation to cable installations.
- Time management and organisational skills.
- Able to work under pressure and be flexible to achieve deadlines.
- Confident and determined individual who can work as part of a team and as an individual under their own initiative.
- Full UK driving license.
- Knowledge of Suppression Systems would be advantageous.
