Role Overview:
Joining us as a Workspace Shift Technician, you'll play an integral role in our mission, delivering top-notch technical support daily. Your focus will be to uphold SOPs, KPIs, and SLAs while collaborating closely with our workspace team to ensure consistent and resilient engineering services. Your efforts will directly enhance the workplace experience for our clients' staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Collaboration:
  • Engage actively with your team, fostering a culture of teamwork, service excellence, and personal development.

Operational Duties:
  • Maintain strict adherence to client contract requirements, striving always to meet and exceed KPIs.
  • Execute both reactive and planned maintenance tasks to impeccable standards.
  • Follow established and emergency protocols.
  • Champion the account's Risk & Safety practices to safeguard against service disruptions.
  • Collaborate with the broader team to pinpoint avenues for refining technical service delivery.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to service enhancement, driven by a commitment to continual improvement.
Desired Experience & Technical Skills:
  • HV/LV Authorized Person (AP15) – Refresher courses available.
  • Updated IEE: Wiring and Installation Regulations or equivalent in mechanical engineering.
  • HNC & HND in Engineering.
  • Confined Authorized Person – Refresher courses available.
  • Mechanical Pressure Authorized Person – Refresher courses available.
  • IOSH certification.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
  • City & Guilds Level 3 NVQ in electrical/mechanical discipline.
  • Previous experience in a Critical Engineering Facility.
  • Strong PC literacy, adeptness with systems like BMS, and other digital control/monitoring platforms.
Work Location:
  • This role operates on a rotational shift pattern (12 hours), encompassing both day and night shifts.
  • Flexibility to support the team outside of designated shifts is essential.
  • The position is based at our client's premises.
