Build Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading service provider to source a Project Manager (built environment) based in Bristol: £50k + benefits.
A newly formed business, my client specialises in the delivery of infrastructure, asset, and facilities management services into the UK Defence Sector.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Manager will predominantly be working on "front end" capital projects in the RIBA 0-4 stages with some inception to completion projects as part of their project portfolio.
The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering refurbishment and or enhancing / upgrading, with a small amount of new build. Typical projects would usually consist of:
Electrical Upgrades, Plant Room Upgrades, HVAC Repairs or Installation, EV Chargers, Geothermal, PV, Fire Alarm Installation, Fire Door/Compartmentation Upgrades, Bespoke Defence Sector Related Projects.
Typically, Project Managers will deliver/work on around 50 to 55 projects per year with an average value of £130k but this can range from £25k to £multi-million. All projects are tendered commercial to a Firm Fixed Price. The client has no PC sums within their tenders.
About you:
- Demonstratable experience of managing projects.
- Evidence of utilising safe systems of work, H&S management and performance management.
- Ideally holding a degree qualification in building/electrical/mechanical engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Ideally have a membership of accredited professional body (MCIOB, MRICS, APM, WIFM).
- Excellent organisation skills including time management and self-motivation.
- Experience of customer facing stakeholder management.

This role is subject to security clearance and requires applicants to have a full UK driving licence.
