What this job involves: As a vital part of our team, you will contribute to the day-to-day technical operations in the workplace, ensuring adherence to SOPs, KPIs, and SLAs. This role involves close collaboration with the wider workspace team to deliver a resilient and consistent engineering service, aligning with our goal of providing an exceptional workplace experience for our clients' colleagues and guests.
You will be a crucial member of a motivated team, contributing to the realization of our vision and translating it into operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include both team collaboration and individual work, encompassing reactive repairs and planned preventative maintenance tasks. Effective communication with stakeholders to update them on technical issues will be a key aspect of your role.
Your day-to-day responsibilities: Team Participation
Contribute to building a supportive environment that encourages teamwork, cooperation, service excellence, and personal success on your shift.
Welcome coaching and mentoring for skill set development and career advancement.
Operationally
Ensure compliance with all requirements of the client contract, meeting or exceeding Key Performance Indicators.
Undertake reactive repairs and complete planned preventative maintenance tasks to the highest standard.
Adopt standard and emergency operating procedures.
Apply and adhere to the account’s Risk & Safety work practices to mitigate the risk of service interruption to the client’s operation.
Collaborate with the wider team to identify opportunities for improving technical service delivery across the account.
Continuous Improvement
Strive for continuous improvement by identifying and implementing service enhancements and adaptations.
Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:
HV/LV authorized person AP15 (Refresher training can be provided).
Current Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation Regulations or equivalent mechanical engineering qualification.
HNC & HND in an engineering discipline.
Confined authorized person (Refresher training can be provided).
Mechanical Pressure authorized person (Refresher training can be provided).
IOSH.
Required Skills and Experience:
City & Guilds Level 3 NQV in electrical/mechanical discipline.
Previous experience within a Critical Engineering Facility.
Strong PC literacy and ability to manage daily activities using various systems such as BMS and other computerized control/monitoring systems.
