Build Recruitment are working with a London based NHS Trust to make the key appointment of a Plumber role: Minimum 3 – 6month contract paying up to £25.47 hour (umbrella).
Reporting to the Estates Supervisor, the Plumber will have responsibility to provide professional and technical expertise to create, operate and maintain safe, efficient systems for all mechanical services.
The Plumber will also be responsible for carrying out approved and competent person duties to HTM03-01, Gas Safety Regulations and other Mechanical Engineering plant and services as part of the management responsibility for safely managing systems and installations.
You will also Carry out work activities which are both routine and non-routine. Responsible for repairs, fault finding and routine planned maintenance activities to gas, mechanical, heating, hot and cold water plant, equipment and services.
It is expected that applicants have a recognised plumbing, mechanical or gas apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications such as NVQ level 2 and 3.
NHS / Hospital / Healthcare experience is desirable but not essential. You will need a full and clean UK drivers licence.
