Facilities Management (main)
Build Recruitment are working with a leading NHS Trust in the South West of England to make the key appointment of Head of Facilities Management (Environmental): £65k - £73k + benefits.
Reporting to the Director of Estates, the Head of Facilities will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic development of the facilities and environmental services across the portfolio.
As well as monitoring KPIs and SLAs or Facilities and Environmental Services across the Trust, the Head of Facilities will provide assurance and validation of the delivery of contracted-out services and in-house service, ensuring that services fully comply with current and emerging legislation and regulations.
Working collaboratively with other "Heads of Service", The Head of Facilities will provide leadership for all the facilities and environmental services related activities, including catering, cleaning, portering, linen/laundry services, waste, transport, pest control and window cleaning.
My client is looking for a well organised and thorough Head of Facilities who possesses excellent communication skills and demonstrates a collaborative style of working.
***Experience of working within the NHS or Healthcare is preferred but not essential. This is a "Soft Services" and Environmental role (not hard FM), and would suit applicants from a front of house, or hospitality background.***
