The Role: Project Manager – Construction

Contact: 12 Months FTC
Salary: Negotiable
I am very excited to be working with this growing group who have incredible and varied sites. To support growth, I am searching for a dynamic and proven Construction Project Manager for a FIXED TERM CONTRACT of 12 months. The incoming candidate will need a minimum of 5 years’ experience in restaurant / hospitality construction / fit out / refurb projects.

As a project manager your job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific jobs you are working on. The expansion is Nationwide, so please do be prepared to travel. This group have the most amazing culture.
Main responsibilities
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of the group
- Manage multiple projects safely, competently, and effectively to time and budget.
- Manage all financial aspects of projects. Produce PO’s and order items relating to the projects you manage.
- Ensure all extra works/variations are costed and invoiced.
- Provide cost value reconciliation for projects/contracts.
- Ensure all sub-contracts are approved in line with the company policies.
- Ensure project meets all current legislation.
- Assist in costing schemes for quotation as required.
- Identify and inform Directors / Senior Managers of commercial opportunities as appropriate.
- Review and monitor programme schedule using Project Management tools.
- Actively monitor teams within your line management responsibility.
- Ensure Risk Assessments are carried out at all stages of a project (design, planning, generic and Daily On Site).
