Job Title: Head of Recruitment – Commercial Property Maintenance

Location: Airdrie + Travel

Sector: Property & FM

Salary: £60,000 to £70,000 pa + Bens (DOE)

I am working with a commercial client who has seen their business grow by 70% in the last year and they are set to continue! With over 20 years behind them, they are in a very strong position and now is the time for them to bring a Head of Recruitment into the fold.

About the role:

The Head of Recruitment will be the first of its kind in the company and will allow the incoming candidate to create their own team, systems and process. You will be heavily supported by their HR, L&D and Business Psychologist to ensure that core company values are embedded throughout the recruitment process which you will build.

All About you:

You will have a number of years working in-house as a Recruiter for a company which is familiar with volume recruitment. You will be able to work collaboratively and at pace, forging relationships with stakeholders at all levels and genuinely absorbing the company culture, value and mission. You will be creative and innovative, with the ability to develop the strategy for an excellent recruitment division that will operate across the UK.

A huge part of the groups’ success has been their work in communities, and they are keen to see how they can continue to give back to the communities in which they operate – this could form a key part of the recruitment platform.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Establish end to end recruitment process and platform
  • Develop robust and aligned on-boarding process
  • Build and develop a national recruitment team
  • Collaborate with business unit leads to establish systematic approaches to volume and ad hoc recruitment
  • Lead on the process to generate candidates at all levels
  • Be a committed company ambassador
  • Contribute to decision making process on technology to support growth 

Outside of this you will have plenty of room for creativity and be working at a senior level with a group who value, develop and retain their people.
