Junior Architect – Hospitality group
Location: Malta
Salary: competitive and market related
Software/Competences: REVIT, 2-dimensional CAD drawings, 3-dimensional BIM models
My client is an innovative operator with multiple food and beverage concepts and hotels in the Mediterranean. They are currently undergoing an exciting phase of growth and development, which has resulted in the need a Junior Architect.
The Job
- Develop and prepare architectural designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches and specifications,
- Create 2-dimensional CAD drawings and 3-dimensional BIM models for use of various departments and teams.
- Utilise BIM to analyse potential design solutions for building services clashes
- Produce, organise and distribute all building plans.
- Complete documentation packages and produce drawing sets based on current project and team needs,
- Check and verify design drawings to confirm specifications and design data.
- Efficiently operate computer-assisted design and drafting workstations and ensure clients’ needs are met in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements
- Minimum post-secondary diploma in drafting, architecture or equivalent
- Ability to create preliminary designs or conceptualization of design
- Ability to create presentation drawings with perspective using REVIT
- Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution
- Minimum 2 years experience working with REVIT
- Minimum 2 years experience in Building Information Modelling (BIM)
- Experience with wood frame construction drawings will be considered an asset
