Store Cleaning Operative

Location: Belfast BT8 6
Working Hours: 6:00 am to 8:30 am (Monday to Saturday), 9:30 am to 11:00 am (Sunday)
Job Type: Temporary (2 weeks) with a possibility of leading to full-time employment
Job Category: General Cleaning


Responsibilities:


  • Perform general cleaning duties in accordance with the store's cleaning standards and guidelines.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of all areas within the store premises, including aisles, shelves, floors, and restrooms.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Dust and wipe down surfaces, including counters, shelves, and display cases.
  • Empty and clean waste bins, ensuring proper disposal of trash and recyclable materials.
  • Clean windows, glass doors, and other glass surfaces.
  • Sanitize and disinfect high-touch areas, such as doorknobs, handrails, and shopping carts.
  • Restock cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and protocols while performing cleaning tasks.


Work Schedule:

Monday to Saturday: 6:00 am to 8:30 am

Sunday: 9:30 am to 11:00 am


Note: The temporary assignment will be for a duration of 2 weeks initially, but it may lead to a full-time position based on performance and the store's requirements.
