Build Recruitment are working with an Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) client to make the key appointment of Chauffeur x 2: Essex and London £50k - £55k + benefits.
My client is seeking 2 dedicated, professional, and responsible chauffeurs to support a UHNW family based in Essex and central London. The chauffeurs will be required to work Monday to Friday, including one alternative rota weekend day with another driver.
About you:
- Experience of chauffeuring / driving for a private family as well as having experience of driving high specification vehicles (Rolls Royce would be advantageous).
- Excellent knowledge and experience of driving in and around London.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English to communicate effectively with a diverse group of clients, employees, and VIP guests and dignitaries.
- You must display a strong work history with proven longevity of working for private family employers.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Complete oversight of maintenance and car condition (pristine). Working with the family office to coordinate and ensure insurance, records, and registration are up to date.
- Day-to-day the Chauffeur would drive principles to offices in Central London, appointments, events, errand runs and special requests, and drop-offs. Supporting other drivers with undertaking chauffeur requests for extended family members, including school run at the beginning/end of the day and after-school activities as required.
- Required for a weekend or weekday airport drop-off or pick-up at short notice, so it is imperative that you provide flexibility in your capacity as Chauffeur.
- Strong English communication and smartphone skills are required for email and text.
- The Chauffeur is to complete driving logs, expense documents incidents, check the vehicle's overall safety and re-fuel.
- Considerable knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions and communicate effectively in verbal expression.
- Excellent references from current/previous employment. Previous Chauffeur and safe driving training are expected.
- You will need to be well-presented and follow proper chauffeur etiquette.
- Have a full clean UK driving license and be (or be willing to be) DBS checked.
