Job Title: Helpdesk Administrator

Location: Motherwell - ML1

Salary: Up to £25,000

Role Type: Fully Office Based - 8am - 5pm

Holidays: 23 + 8 Bank Holidays

Working with a range of clients to deliver streamlined maintenance, delivering compliant planned maintenance and a responsive reactive maintenance service 24/7.

Main duties of a Helpdesk Administrator:


  • Answer all telephone calls both internally and externally in a professional and timely manner ensuring that all messages are returned appropriately
  • Manage the client portal systems to ensure all reports are uploaded and tasks are completed as per SLAs
  • Issue all completion paperwork and certificates to clients via email/portal
  • Foster client relationships and develop a culture of trust and respect
  • Ensure that complaints are dealt with appropriately
  • General administration tasks
  • Ongoing computer system housekeeping
  • Receiving, tracking and scanning of statutory compliance documentation
  • To understand and complete all work- related documentation accurately and on time
  • To understand and comply with policies and procedures
  • To comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • To attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required
  • To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required

Person Specification: 


  • Good working knowledge of MS Office including Word and Excel
  • Good Customer Service skills with the ability to deal with Customers and internal staff and the varied queries the Service Desk receives promptly and politely
  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Team player
  • Flexible and adaptable approach
  • Solution focused
  • Good attention to detail and well organised
