Are you looking for a Buyer role with more substance? Do you want to get out from behind your laptop and see how your work makes a difference?
In your new Junior Buyer role you'll be supporting one of the largest emergency service organisations in the UK. By making sure they have good equipment, facilities and an environment they can get much need rest in your work will be helping to save lives.
You'll manage engineering and construction suppliers across the UK to make sure your client (who has numerous sites across London) gets the best value and quality in their building - because they deserve it. Whether that's getting the most competitive price from a heating supplier or ensuring accurate PAT testing contractor reporting and invoicing you'll help manage the supply chain to ensure best practice.
Your new company prides ourselves on the quality and consistently of information we give our client about their property portfolio so a big part of your role will be business analysis. You'll help us (and them) track the costs of maintaining their sites, map out strategies for future works and find areas where we can improve. This is a crucial part of our relationship with our client so your contribution won't go unnoticed.
We're pretty open to background here - you can come from a buying, procurement, surveying, commercial or estimating background in either FM, property, engineering or construction or anything related.
Intermediate MS Excel skills (pivot tables, V look ups etc.) to be able to run the business analyst side of the role will be a big benefit. If you enjoy collaborating with lots of different people; from your colleagues on the contract to external suppliers to the client themselves this job is going to suit you.

Package
£28k basic salary
25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
