Job Title: Technical Groundsman
Location: Enniskillen (BT74)
Sector: Hospital and Healthcare
Salary: £40,000 to £44,000

The role:
As a Technical Groundsman you will be joining and working alongside a larger team of multi-skilled engineers, working in a well known premium hospital and health centre in Enniskillen.
You will be responsible for reporting directly to the account manager as well as engagement and use of all suppliers, specialists and sub-contractors employed by the Company in the delivery of services. You will be responsible for the planning of conversion and refurbishment projects, working against budgets and developing detail.
You will also be in close communication with the client, providing updates and attending meetings as required.
What you'll need for this role:
- 3rd level qualification in Building Surveying or other construction focused qualification
- Previous experience in a works planning environment
- Previous experience in the management of staff.
Duties you will be carrying out in this role:
- Preparation and implementation of the Planned Preventative Maintenance Plan (PPM) and the Reactive maintenance service as required.
- Receive requirements from the client, before pricing and estimating the cost and agreeing dates to start and complete a programme of work.
- Use own initiative, skill and judgement in the absence of client or managers in preparing a programme of work.
- Ensure that all times the work is undertaken in an effective and efficient manner and reviewed regularly.
- Provide technical and professional specialism advice to on-site staff, manager and as required advise client and external agencies.
- Experience working as a building or quantity surveyor.
