EUC Desktop Engineer
Kings Cross - N1C 4DA
Monday to Friday 08:30-17:30 - 6 months fixed term position!
£45,000 per annum

Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for a 6 month, Full Time EUC Desktop Engineer to be based at one of the UK's leading financial companies offices, based in Kings Cross - onsite you'll be responsible for front of house duties, general administrative work and workplace services.

Duties of Desktop Engineer:
- Support all Laptops, Desktops, thin clients and associated infrastructure in the site
- Support, supervise and report on end user systems to agreed SLA
- Bolster our security compliance through the use of protection platforms and applications in use such as SEP, InTune, BitLocker, etc.
- Support the core image build and deployment process
- Support of InTune MDM and RSA SecureID applications
- Support the implementation of new end user resources
- Implement process improvements to resolve outstanding faults or provide new functionality
- Input to documentation of accountable systems
- Supporting WFH Technology & Hardware
- Apply strict governance on all requests from Security Operations
- Ensure all EUC systems are PCIDSS compliant
- Ensure all audit requests are successful and completed within set deadlines
Essential Skills:
- Strong skills regarding incident customer concern, Technical problem solving, EXCO support, Team Management, focus & drive
- Solid understanding of Microsoft product suite & future improvements
- Experience with Intune, SCCM, MEM , VM & Citrix management platforms
- Understanding of Security Hardening, Gold Build provisioning & patch management
- Proficient writing Technology Processes
