Electrical Maintenance Fitter
£40,000 - £45,000k + Benefits & Progression
Static - Parking On Site, High Security Government Contract
Monday - Thursday / 40hr Week
Berkeley - GL13

This is a brand new position for a Electrical Maintenance Fitter wanting to step into more of a challenge with the bonus of having a shorter working week, this role will be covering a high security government decommissioning site joining a large team, working under the largest FM provider in Europe, the contract is 5+2+2+1 year, commenced in 2021.
Responsibilities:
- Duties would include planned and reactive maintenance in various locations on site.
- Types of work are but not limited to-
- Heating & ventilation
- Transformer maintenance
- Testing Electrical Protection Systems
- Periodic Inspection and Testing BS7671
- RCD Injection Testing
- 3 phase Motor inspection & Overhaul
- Motor control circuits
Experience/Skills:
- Individuals should hold qualifications of a typical level of City and Guilds, BTEC ONC, (NQF Level 3) and/or relevant technical experience. It would be desirable for the members of the team to have experience of working in a regulated industry & have served a time served apprenticeship.
- 18th Edition
- 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
- 2377 (PAT Testing)
- Previous maintenance experience working in a commercial environment
- Hold a UK full driving licence
- Knowledge of Health & Safety & safe working practices, all mandatory Safety training will be given.
- Strong customer care focus.
- Baseline security clearance would be advantageous but not a requirement.
