Regional Hard Services Manager - NEW ROLE
£50,000 + Company Benefits & Progression
Colchester
Monday - Friday / 40hr Week

Our client is looking to recruit a Hard Services Manager looking for their next step in the facilities maintenance sector. As a Regional Hard Services Manager this will be a much more challenging role with a wider responsibility.

The ideal candidate will come from a M&E background and have previous experience of being hands on in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the delivery of hard services activities at a portfolio of the contract
- Ensure best practice guidelines are adhered to and continuously improved
- Liaison with Management and Opertional teams to ensure compliance with contract SLAs.
- Identify opportunities both commercial & Operational.
- Ensure the clients premises are maintained to the highest standard by undertaking routine walk rounds and taking a proactive approach to repairs.
- Escalation of issues to provide early warning of defects.
- Manage the regional engineering team including attendance, sickness, annual leave, punctuality, productivity, quality of work.
- Manage PPM, Reactive and Quoted work in line with contract KPI's. 25% PPM's to be completed weekly and 100% PPM to be completed in month.
- Statutory remedial works are to be completed within the contract KPI's
- Ensure breached Reactive Works & Quoted Works are dealt with immediately.
- Audit 5% of Planned Preventative Maintenance per month.
- Undertake site surveys and provide quotes for new works.
- Responsible for all sub contractor activities so there is minimum impact to the client
- Undertake 'Stop Work Audits' for sub contractor related works
- Review RAMS for sub-contractor related works.
Experience/Skills:
- Electrical / Mechanical / Building Services Qualification
- An Excellent knowledge of building services systems is required (Controls/LTHW/CHW/HVAC/L8/UPS/Generators)
- Health & Safety qualification (IOSH / NEBOSH)
- A good understanding of the Maximo CAFM system and its function.
- Previous experience of working in a Hard Services Manager role in a technical environment
