Working for one of the UK's leading and best-known Facilities Management companies. They are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to look after a large commercial contract within the recruitment sector, looking after commercial offices and recruitment centres. This is a fantastic opportunity based on a Nationwide contract working across the southwest.
The role will be responsible for carrying out a range of general maintenance tasks, electrical maintenance and offer business support across the contract.
Working across a various government buildings and government contracts along with prestigious and well-known sites within the Shaftsbury and the surrounding area.
The ideal candidate needs to be reliable, able to complete work within required time frame and manage own deadline requirements. Have a calm manner and be able to work under pressure and against rapidly changing demands and priorities. Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing support to other areas of the business on occasions, as required.
Job Accountabilities:
- The completion of Planned Preventative Maintenance
- Reactive maintenance
- Electrical maintenance
- Emergency lighting
- Ensuring reactive repairs are completed in accordance with contractual SLA's
- The diagnosis and repair of faults on systems
- Completing tasks to highest standards of workmanship and safety
Qualifications / Requirements:
- A recognised industry Electrical qualification will be required (e.g. City & Guilds), and previous experience is essential
- IEE 18th Edition (essential)
- Ability to obtain a counter terrorism clearance (CTC)
