Shift Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical)

£43,000 - £45,000 + Overtime + Progression

Our client is now seeking a Shift Engineer to join their large team working across a state-of-art pharmaceutical facility in Maidenhead.

Working on the largest state-of-art pharmaceutical facilities in the Maidenhead area under the biggest FM provider in Europe who offer job security, overtime, company benefits, academic qualifications, pension scheme and more. Our client is the biggest FM company in Europe and have 77,500 people working across large, diverse, blue-chip customer bases, from banks and retailers, to hospitals, schools and critical government strategic assets.

Responsibilities:


  • Ensure that all equipment and services are maintained and operated in a safe condition to comply with Health & Safety.
  • Monitor regular inspection procedures (preventative maintenance programme) of equipment.
  • Record and keep logs of inspection reports and remedial work.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of statutory regulations and to ensure awareness of all safety procedures.
  • Undertake electrical repairs and installations as appropriate.
  • Report any defects at time of service visit.
  • Responsible for vehicle and materials on board.
  • Understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time.
  • Undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required

Experience/Skills:


  • 18th Edition
  • C&G L2&3 Electrical Installations or C&G L2&3 Mechanical Engineering/Plumbing Studies/Building Services (Minimum C&G or NVQ Equivalent)
  • Apprenticeship Served
