Soft Services Manager

Office Based - EC1N

Monday to Friday, Normal Working Hours

Salary up to £38,000 + Package

Our client currently has an opportunity for a Soft Services Manager to join their vibrant business unit based at brand new HQ situated between Chancery Lane and Farringdon station. Working across a British listed multinational mining account; you'll be responsible for leading a small team, overseeing workplace operations and taking on cleaning & catering on site within the next 6-8 months.

This role would suit someone who is keen to progress up the ladder in the next 8-12 months as there is scope for the successful candidate to move into contract management within the next year.

Job Responsibilities for a Soft Services Manager:

  • Organizing and coordinating the Soft Services team on site which includes facilities assistants, reception & post room operatives and contractors
  • Keeping client on site up to date with any relevant goings on across site
  • Responsible for all KPIs/SLAs ensuring they are delivered on time
  • Ensure all health & safety and other procedures are followed by staff and external contractors
  • Compile training programs for any starters as well as training days for current staff
  • Weekly meetings
  • Minor budgets and project/small works
  • Recruitment needs
  • Out of hours events
  • Promoting company values during working hours
  • Keeping compliance and site paper work up to date

Qualifications / Experience for a Soft Services Manager:

  • Educated to A-Level / University standard
  • IOSH or COSHH (desirable)
  • Client facing and well presented
  • Previous experience with cleaning & catering (desirable)
  • Proficient IT skills, primarily Microsoft packages
  • Very well organized and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Double vaccinated (essential)
