Lad Support Technician - Montrose

Job objectives and responsibilities
The position is responsible for providing support to the LIS and TLS service line onsite. The role will include, but is not limited to,
- Supporting and coordinating Planned & Reactive Maintenance is completed within the specified time-frames and in accordance with the specified requirement
- Supporting first line fixes of HPLC & GC
- Completing RTS of HPLC & GC after PPM and RM.
- Coordination & scheduling of 3rd party vendors
- Maintaining high standards for allocated stores areas ensuring no stock outs.
- Control of contractors in respect of 3rd party engineers ie "meet & greet"
- Ensuring documentation and records are kept up-to-date and in compliance with site requirements
- Ensuring compliance with Quality Standards
Person Specification
- Educated to degree level Chemistry (or similar)
- Enthusiastic, hard working and shows willing
- Confidence and communication skills to challenge behaviours and drive continuous improvement.
- Can perform under pressure and independent of supervision
- Customer focused
- Works well as a team
- Experience of working within a laboratory, GxP environment (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and able to priortise tasks appropriately
- Attention to detail & capability to work methodically to strict processes and procedures

- Compliance with health and safety requirements
Health & Safety
- Ensure all appropriate RAMS are in place prior to commencing tasks on equipment
- Conducting Safety Walks/GEMBAs to support wider team
- Ensuring 3rd party engineers are working safely and in accordance with RAMS provided
Quality & Compliance
- Maintenance of the Equipment list (Asset list) to ensure it is up-to-date at all times
- Maintaining a high-level of GDocP in accordance with site procedures
- Ensuring Procedures are current and compliant with site requirements
- Conducting L1 audits in support of the wider team
- Being available to support audits as required
Key Accountabilities
- Accountable for adopting the ALCOA+ (attributable, legible, contemporaneous, original & accurate) principles
- Maintenance of the Equipment list (Asset list) to ensure it is up-to-date at all times
- All maintenance carried out within the scheduling window and in accordance with SLA & KPI requirements
- Responsible for ensuring work areas maintain high standards of housekeeping and meet requirements such as 5S.
- Responsible for ensuring no stock-out of lab consumable items for allocated areas.
