Air Conditioning Engineer - Irvine
£34,000- £37,000 Salary
GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Building in Irvine
Main Duties
- Reactive repairs and routine PPM tasks
- Minor new works and complete required certification as necessary.
- Plan replacement by identifying equipment end of life
- Attend site meetings or training when required.
- Willing to undertake other duties in line with contract deliverables and cooperate with other disciplines and services.
- Identify, locate and procure required materials/consumables for repair
- Maximise the use of mobile technology to ensure compliance and manage work orders
- Adhere to, and assist the site team, in ensuring that all Statutory and Legislative requirements are achieved/adhered to.
- Ensure both the company's and the clients EHS policies and procedures are adhered to
What we are looking for
- Experience of maintenance, testing and fault finding on HVAC systems.
- Ideally served a recognised trade training scheme.
- Experience (or be willing to be trained) to maintain and repair ASHP
- Refrigeration or Air Conditioning Specific Qualifications
- NVQ level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Small Refrigeration.
- City & Guilds Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (7189) Level 2 or 3
- City & Guilds Refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump systems (6090)
- F-Gas Category 1 (City & Guilds 2079, was 2078 Safe Handling of Refrigerants)
