Mechanical Fitter

37.5 hours per week ( 8am - 4pm)
My client is looking for a mechanical maintenance engineer to join their facilities management team of 20 to work on a healthcare contract on a temporary to permanent basis.
The Role
As a mechanical fitter, you will be joining a team of 20 staff to assist with the maintenance within a plant room and their estates departments.
Duties include:-
- Servicing Steam Plant and boilers
- Servicing air handling units
- Servicing and maintenance of calorifiers
- Servicing and maintenance of plate heat exchangers
- Pipework
- Initial Gas checks - FGAS an advantage
- Working on pressure systems
- Legionella awareness - servicing thermostats mix valves and recording temperatures.
Qualifications
- HNC/ONC/C&G plumbing or mechanical engineering
The Person
- You will be immediately available.
- You may have experience of working within a hospital environment.
- You will be required to have a DBS if you do not already have one.
