Site Mechanical Manager £45k Fixed term contract of 18 months or day rates available for self employed contractor
We have an exciting opportunity working on a prestigious government contract for one of the UK's leading project management companies. Our client is looking for a Site Manager to oversee a site in Central Birmingham as well as several satellite sites across Birmingham City Centre - you will be responsible for assisting the Projects Manager on Mechanical projects including LTHW, Gas, Water & Drainage pipework, Ventilation & BMS controls , managing all sub-contractors and engineers, ensuring Responsibility of day to day H&S management of sub contract trades, obtaining relevant daily permits work is carried out efficiently, H&S compliance amongst other day to day duties.

- Monday - Friday, 7am/5pm
- Working on a prestigious contract in the heart of Birmingham
- Fixed Term Contract of 18 months
Site Manager Responsibilities;
- Assisting the mechanical project manager
- Assisting with day to day management of sub contract trades to meet the programme requirements
- Coordination of deliveries and responsibility for distribution of materials.
- Responsibility of day to day H&S management of sub contract trades, obtaining relevant daily permits and recording of
- Reporting to Overall site Manager
- Must have CSCS & SSSTS or SMSTS and be willing to undertake a DBS security check
- Must have experience in this role
- Familiarisation and relevant trade industry experience with all aspects of mechanical services, including LTHW, Gas, Water & Drainage pipework, Ventilation & BMS controls
Experience Required:
- Demonstrable ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent understanding of Mechanical systems
- A friendly, happy demeanour with a positive can-do attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Confident with Microsoft Word & Excel
