An exciting opportunity has arisen, supporting a large Healthcare organisation as a Sustainability Project Manager.
The post will be hybrid working in London, on an interim basis for 3 months, at a Band 7.
The post holder will assist senior management level to embed project management, delivery, and reporting structures into the overall organisation sustainability programme.

An exciting opportunity has arisen, supporting a large Healthcare organisation as a Sustainability Project Manager.
The post will be hybrid working in London, on an interim basis for 3 months, at a Band 7.
The post holder will assist senior management level to embed project management, delivery, and reporting structures into the overall organisation sustainability programme.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with busy teams across the organisation to ensure that systems put in place are simply understood, appropriate and integrated into monitoring the progress towards wider organisation Climate & Health Emergency emissions targets;
- Support teams by simplifying processes and demonstrating the benefits they bring;
- Ensuring that reporting feeds through the existing governance structures including the sustainability steering group, Sustainability Programme Board, and wider organisation governance;
- Integrating new structures and processes into existing organisational structures bringing simplicity not complexity, and in a way that is of assistance to busy teams and not another task;
- Creating and embedding a structure for this complex change process that brings consistency of reporting and ease of analysing progress;
- Work with all departments to ensure data – relating to Carbon emissions monitoring – is incorporated into reporting structures where appropriate;
- Flexibility to adapt the approach as required due to ongoing feedback and insight gained.
A successful candidate will have:
- Project Management Qualification (Expected except where knowledge & experience is exceptional);
- Experience working within the NHS within a management level;
- Experience of collaborating closely with teams and leaders to create successful change outcomes within organisations;
- Strong track record in successful and detailed project management and the creation of processes and structures;
- Ability to map project reporting and monitoring, including agreed benefits, KPIs, targets and delivery plans into wider governance structures and target;
