Testing and Inspection Electrician
Sidcup
Monday to Friday - 7AM till 4PM
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
The role will report directly to the Site Manager (Supported by the National Contract T&I Supervisor) with responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the electrical testing and inspection contract, including development of the contract.
What will you deliver?
- Ensure that all works under control are effectively carried out to ensure that any third party contractors who carry out work on the site do so in a safe and professional manner and abide by the relevant Company procedures and site specific procedures where applicable.
- Carry out scheduled Electrical testing and Inspection maintenance tasks including but not limited to Emergency Lighting, ECIR, Illumination Levels, Infra-Red, Motors, PAT, Static Discharge, Lightening Protection. To carry out repairs and operations of equipment and services in accordance with best practice.
- Ensure that the Site Manager/T&I Supervisor is kept informed of all aspects of safety performance, plant performance and customers circumstances that may impact upon the safe, efficient, reliable and cost-effective operation of the plant and smooth operation of the plant.
- To assist the Site Manager in the preparation of site budgets and monthly reports by providing the requested information in a timely manner.
- The role requires the Site T&I Electrician to assist the Site Manager/T&I Supervisor to operate on a daily basis with self-autonomy dealing with everything from SHEQ, personnel management, subcontractor management, contract management, budget control, engineering planning and execution, planned preventative maintenance, etc

Qualifications
- ONC/C&G or equivalent in an electrical engineering discipline (Essential)
- C&G 2391, or equivalent Testing & Inspection (Essential)
- 18th Edition Electrical Qualification (Essential)
