Head of Facilities (College Group)

This post provides the opportunity to work with the Directorate to assist in the development of the overall Facilities & Estate’s management strategy to provide an outstanding service.  This will include the on-going review and production of cost effective maintenance program, development of policies and procedures in compliance with Health and Safety regulations, maintenance of buildings cost data and the effective deployment of resources.

We are looking for an experienced people manager with strong, demonstrable experience of the management of operational services, ensuring statutory requirements as well as College policies and procedures are implemented to the highest standards.

The successful candidate must have:

  • An in depth knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and the impact of these regulations on the facilities
  • Hands on experience of project management, contract, security and site management
  • Experience of managing budgets and leading teams
  • Relevant Health and Safety qualifications, such as NEBOSH, IOSH or COSHH
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and use of online databases.
