…but that's exactly what your new Data Centre Facilities Manager is going to do.
We're setting up a team to roll out 4G mobile connectivity across the London Underground. This highly ambitious, complex project is going to change the way millions of people use the Tube and as Data Centre Facilities Manager you'll play an integral part of that.
There's massive job satisfaction in this role - you're literally building something from the ground up that will have national recognition.
You'll be coming in at an early stage to oversee the design and build of a number of data centres/base station hotels across the TfL portfolio, working closely with this organisation and mobile network operators to get up and running. From there you'll establish SOPs, suppliers and systems and ultimately run the day-to-day operations of the portfolio that you created.
It's the sort of job you can hang your entire career on.
As you'll be the FM subject matter expert on our team we will need you to come with a background of managing the facilities provision across data centres. Any experience overseeing their D&B too would be a bonus.

Package
£70k - £75k basic salary
