Job purpose:
To ensure shift teamwork continuity through the planning of reactive and PPM Task.
To support the Management team and Shift engineers with all operations
To undertake shift cover if needed and ensure cover for holiday, training and absence.
To carry out duties of a HV AP.
To be a member of a successful team who are committed to achieve the clients and company objectives.
Key Accountabilities:
Co-ordinate shift activities and ensure activity records, shift logs and statutory logbooks are maintained and accurate.
Supervising the shift engineers operational and maintenance activities, to ensure work is executed in a safe and suitable manner and complies with SLA.
Support the shift team with technical knowledge and a hands-on approach.
Undertake HVAP duties to ensure the safe operations if switchgear
Support the monitoring of the COC facilities if required
Customer focused service delivery.
Proactive involvement in the on-going technical evaluation of all plant and equipment, suggestion improvements, innovation where appropriate.
Accurate recording and reporting of maintenance activity to ensure CAFM database is correctly updated.
Overseeing & supervision of the monitoring, operation and maintenance of critical systems.
Working closely with the Operations Manager to ensure correct operation of the critical services, through timely engagement of Sub-contractors to execute identified works.
Personal Experience/Qualifications/Skills
Candidates will be time served and have as a minimum, a NVQ level 3 or equivalent academic qualification in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
Good communication skills and a team player and good team management skills.
Capable of managing initial incident response and clear escalations to Employer representatives.
HV AP qualification desired but not essential.
It is essential staff are self-motivated and promote a "Can do" customer attitude at all times.
Skills:
Planning, to include prioritization of tasks from PPM's and help desk requests.
Reacting to break downs and change in priorities.
Sourcing and vetting quotations.
Vetting safe system paperwork and issuing Permits and Authority to work as appropriate
Work issuing
Progress control and quality control.
Safe system and work control system closeout.
Critical spares management
Knowledge:
Proven experience as an engineer in building services within a critical environment.
City and guilds qualification of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and any relevant qualifications in all aspects of building services and mechanical engineering.
Must have team working experience and excel under pressure, must have the ability to think clearly in extreme circumstances within a critical environment.

Strong work ethic and takes accountability for tasks.
Willing to go above and beyond contract/customer requirements.
Have a can-do attitude and flexible approach to ensure task are complete.
Package:
Salary: £42,500 - £47,500
25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
