Build Recruitment are working with a London based Healthcare provider to source a Porter & Fleet Manager. £35,357 p.a.
Reporting to the Head of Estates & Facilities Management, the Porter & Fleet Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and management and will be experienced in making decisions, solving problems, develop departmental procedures, keeping and updating records, participating in meetings across the organisation and liaising with multidisciplinary teams and departments.
Managing a busy team serving patients, visitors, staff, and other site users, the Porter & Fleet Manager will hold responsibility for the management of portering services and fleet as well as being responsible for security of the site, ground maintenance, and mortuary management.
The Porter & Fleet Manager will take proactive and preventive measures to ensure safety of vehicles and drivers as well as ensuring that all vehicles are taxed, insured and serviced/MOT as required and that records are kept for compliance purposes.
Experience in a similar role within Healthcare is essential, as is a clear and current Driving Licence.
