An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our Nationwide clients as a Regional Maintenance Engineer for a cluster of sites in the Nottingham/Grantham area area (Trowell, Blyth, Donington Park and Grantham)
Role Overview:
You will carry out Electrical and building services maintenance activities to the full with total compliance and in a timely and professional manner. This is a key role within the business where a range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks need to be undertaken, paying particular attention to Health & Safety. This will involve electrical and mechanical fault-find and repair of catering equipment and building services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of all maintenance works on site
- Completion of PPM's (fire safety, H&S & compliance)
- Manage all external contractors
- Carry out small reactive works on site
- Provide desk-based support for all businesses units as part of a service-focused support team for all Facilities issues and equipment failures
- Manage escalations between business and our 3 rd party service providers through to completion and effectively communicate call progress to all interested parties
- Provide daily administration of financial reporting to Site Operations Managers and senior operations team
- To build and continually improve a central source of known issues and procedures to assist the support process
Experience and Qualifications:
- Apprenticeship served or relevant Commercial qualifications within an Electrical or Mechanical (AC or Commercial Gas or Plumbing) trades
- Qualified to the 18 th Edition of IEE Wiring Regulations
- Knowledge of other trade skills such as Basic Carpentry, plumbing etc
- A good understanding of budgets
- Full Driving Licence (No more than 6 points)
