Build Recruitment are working with a Midlands based NHS Trust to source a Head of Estates. Salary up to £45k - £51k.
Due to a significant and exciting period of change which will see a number of new large-scale developments across their property portfolio, our client is seeking a motivated and ambitious Head of Estates to lead on the delivery of all Hard Services.
Reporting into the Director of Estates and managing an established team, the Head of Estates will be responsible for the delivery of building and engineering works, as well as ensuring that all reactive and planned maintenance activity is undertaken.
It is expected that you will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a building or engineering discipline as well as having a minimum of 5 years in an Estate Management position.
Experience of managing asbestos/legionella related issues is essential, and you will ideally have been an Approved Person in either; Mechanical, Electrical or Asbestos.
You will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills as well as evidencing stakeholder management experience.
