Description
We are recruiting for a FacilitiesAssistant to be based in at a medical site in Birmingham. In this role you will support with the successful management of the commercial/financial elements of the contract, focussing on the management and recovery of contractual entitlements. You will review payment applications, work in progress and scope, on an ongoing basis to ensure full recovery. Working with both supply chain and client side, you will build excellent relationships based on trust and transparency to improve the performance of the contract(s).
Role Overview
Control & review of all variable income
Day to day cost control, monitoring and reporting
Support reduction of KPI penalties and KPI reporting
Reconcile cost/value reports and profit forecasts
Issue regular progress reports and demonstration of recovery
Support input and management of stock control
Assist with estimates and negotiations for projects
Provide sub-contractor management and process / review any requests for payment
Carry out complex data analysis supporting commercial claims
Identify and manage key risks and opportunities
Qualifications or Required Experience:
Undergraduate degree in a Business, Commercial/Legal or Built Environment related subject
Previous industry experience within the Commercial Remit.
IT skills - MS Office, Excel, Project, Word etc
Awareness of PFI payment mechanism or other complex KPI/SLA regimes
Awareness of Sub-Contract management
Understanding of basic accounting principles and strong numeracy skills
Understanding of management and control of sub-contract accounts and variation accounts
This role includes a DBS Enhanced with Barred Lists check therefore ability to pass is essential
