Role Overview
Job Title: Building Surveyor
Salary: £35,000-£50,000 depending on experience
Benefits: City centre parking - Pension - 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
My client is an established property group that offer a range of services to their client base which includes surveying. They are seeking a proactive and ambitious candidate, who is confident with both traditional building surveying and project management. The candidate should have experience working in a client facing role in both residential and commercial property, ranging from modern developments to listed buildings. The successful applicant will work as part of a team within building surveying and in collaboration with other departments in the group.

- Pre-Purchase Surveys
- Planned Maintenance Projects
- Production of Technical Specifications
- CDM Administration
- JCT Contracts
- Emergency/ reactive repairs and maintenance inspection, specification, and supervision
- Dilapidations
- Schedules of Condition
- Party Wall Works
- Defects Analysis
- Expert Witness
- Insurance Reinstatement Cost Assessments
- Internal and External Client, Reporting
- Business development both within the surveying department and across the wider business.
Personal Specification
- MRICS Qualification
- Excellent computer/ administration skills
- Interest in learning new software packages with training
- Excellent customer and communication skills, written and verbal
- Strong ability to work independently and in a small team
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong sense of accountability
- Clean driving licence with own car
- Experience using CAD Software desirable
