Mobile Domestic Gas Engineer

Job Purpose:-
Reporting into the Senior Mechanical Engineer, the LPG engineer will initially work alongside experience engineers to undertake the technical installations and inspections of large LPG tanks.
**Individuals must be prepared to work away from home for up to a week at a time. They must possess good communication skills and be able to react to situations as they arise**
Monday & Friday will be Travel Days
This is a Full Time Permanent role with a salary of up to £32,000 on offer
The role:-
- Carryout routine maintenance work at storage depots
- Carryout maintenance and inspection work on industrial customer LPG plants
- Carryout on site installations of pipework, pumps, vaporisers and auxiliary equipment at customer sites
- Assist with prefabrication work and vaporiser assembly at Knowsley

Qualifications:-
- Full ACS Certification (desirable)
- CCLP1EP VESLP1 VESLP2
- LPG experience able to demonstrate ability to work hands on
- Ability to meet agreed deadlines and work overtime as required in order to do so
- Self-motivating and resourceful to overcome problems as they arise
- Good communication & influencing skills
- Highly motivated
- A knowledge of LPG in both liquid and vapour phase and safe working practices
- Ability to read both GA and Isometric plant layout drawings
- A working knowledge of pipework assembly including flanged and screwed joints
