Bid Lead

Location: National 

Contract: Permanent, full time

Salary: Competitive Salary + car allowance + Company bonus

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bid Manager, to join one of the UK's largest FM companies on a permanent basis covering a large national contract.

You will be providing bid management support to a large government division of the business. You will work closely with the Business Development team supporting the whole end-to-end bid process, working closely with your team to create winning solutions whilst managing and writing creative and innovative bids tailored to the requirements of each client.

As our client continues to grow, you will be managing multiple bids at any one time. You will thrive working within a fast-paced environment whilst building and maintaining key working relationships with clients and your team.  It will be rewarding to see your successful bids building and seeing the pipeline growing resulting in the business achieving its targets.

You will be ambitious, results-driven, articulate, and resilient, with excellent communication and written skills. You will have worked in a similar fast-paced role and be able to ‘hit the ground’ running and be able to get on board with our systems quickly.  For the right candidate there are ample career progression routes within the business. 

Day to day duties. 


  • Prepare, manage and co-ordinate end to end bid submissions
  • Coordinate and prepare internal governance reviews
  • Positively engage with internal and external key stakeholders
  • Writing reports and analysing relevant business data
  • Presenting findings to the team
  • Determining the reasons for profits and losses
  • Promoting a culture of growth through sales across the business
  • Finding new clients and promoting sales to them
  • Raising the company profile by attending expositions and seminars
  • Suggesting new projects such as product development to tap into new markets
  • Assisting with investment and financial decisions to benefit the company
