Cleaning Supervisor Purpose: To work as part of a team within the large hub and its satellite stations, in the cleaning and preparation of the vehicles, ensuring that service levels of the highest standard are achieved.
Key Tasks
Service
- The cleaning Supervisor will manage daily input hours to target levels or as agreed with the Ops Manager and recording all attendances and non-attendances as required
- Ensure required procedures are followed in respect of new starter’s induction training and probationary period
- To provide specific training on equipment, cleaning practices and use of chemicals to all the Operatives under your control
- Undertake all personal training requirements as may be required from time to time in order to maintain and improve skills and knowledge sufficient to perform duties of the post
- To be directly responsible for training your team in basic skills and ensure that staff training records are updated accordingly
- Work with management team to conduct audits within your area of control as per the agreed service level agreement
- Enter VDI info from pervious shift
- Check Consumables Stores / Equipment Stores Opening stock/Scan all items
- Send email to Logistic with what items have been taken from the store in previous night
- Update stock list and order anything that’s needed
- Call, Visit and liaise with workshop & training centre
- Prep the vehicle not being Prepped by VP Team or Shells that is available from the workshop or at the station
The Cleaning Supervisor must have:
- A clean C1 licence (any licence gained pre 1997 will have this already)
- A standard DBS / if you don't have one you would need to apply for one ASAP through us
- Good English and Maths skills
- Ability to use basic computer functions
