We are currently recruiting for a Hard Services Supervisor for a large scale facility in the Merseyside area.
The role is a permanent position paying circa 36k Mon-Fri 40 hours per week.
The primary duty to supervise on a day to day basis, the effective and efficient running of the on-site hard services function’s which comprises of Electrical, Mechanical and Building fabric disciplines. To effectively supervise all staff with their daily PPM work schedules and any known reactive tasks planned from start to finish. Coordinate and control all documents and reports associated with these works and carry out audit checks as required.
Technical / Hard Facilities Supervisor
Plan any out of hour’s works to be carried out and obtain any overtime authority.
Ensure any materials and supplies required for the effective maintenance of the site are ordered and either on site or deliverable on time as required.
Review asset register and maintenance records in determining life cycle of equipment.
Manage the team against agreed SLA’s and KPI’s
Liaise with Health and Safety Manager on site to ensure all health and safety processes and procedures are adhered to at all times.
Manage Tool Box talks as required.
Deliver continuous improvement by employing best practice and innovative solutions.
To lead by example at all times.
To ensure that all subcontractor visits are suitably planned and executed.
Liaise and coordinate with the management team with regards the monthly PPM workload for the maintenance teams,
To liaise with the helpdesk to ensure that SLA failures are abated and that shortfalls in resources are identified early on.
To increase productivity from all subordinate teams.
Ensure the whole team are qualified and have the necessary training requirements to carry out their individual’s roles, assisted by the site training manager.
Fully responsible to ensure the specialist equipment used on site is fully maintained and calibrated correctly at all times. Such as electrical and L8 test equipment.
Liaise with Client teams on PPM schedules and task’s
Attend client/supplier meetings as required on behalf of the Operations Manager.
Liaise with the individual Client production managers by site to confirm time and date tasks can be under taken.
Support the projects team on an adhoc basis.
To deputise in the absence of the Support Service Manager.
Supervise and work alongside the Hard Services maintenance team when needed and be-able to cover engineering roles when necessary
Person Specification
At least 3 years’ experience within a similar role.
Diploma Certificate or equivalent technical qualifications.
Knowledge of BMS, AHU`s and clean room systems.
Must have a thorough understanding and working knowledge of M&E plant with in the pharmaceutical environment
Knowledge of Permit to Work System
Understanding of FM contracts
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Powerpoint etc.
Must be aware of the effect of non-compliance on production.
Good leadership skills and team building experience.
Calm professional manner, but able to take firm and timely decisions.
Proven organisational skills.
