Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated in Cwmbran, Gwent. PRS are currently looking for a Fabric Technician to be based at a commercial site in Cwmbran, Gwent. The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a handy person ideally with some painting and decorating and reactive and repair work experience. This is an ad hoc role covering holidays and sickness. The hourly rate paying £15.00 per hour.
The hours are 8am - 4.00pm.
The first lot of cover dates are Friday 5th March until Friday 12th March (6 days) excluding weekends.
Monday 22nd March until Wednesday 31st March (8 working days) excluding weekends.
The next lot of cover date will be confirmed closer to the time.
Job description.
Demonstrate appropriate Health & Safety knowledge to ensure safe delivery of all work. Ensure that all Operational activities are carried out in Compliance with internal regulations and external Legislation governing the Business Operations. Capable of working independently. and completing all documentation.
Practical experience carrying out Fabric related PPM's in-line with industry standard or equivalent with wide ranging skills in Reactive and Repair work. Capable of undertaking Reactive Repairs and Small Projects with minimal supervision. Experience in small PPM tasks such as visual checks, putting up shelves, changing light bulbs etc. Minimum of 2 years working as a Fabric Person on Commercial/Industrial facilities .
Deliver PPM relating primarily to Building Fabric inline with agreed programmes/SLA's in order to meet Client and Statutory Compliance.
