Head of Operations – Italy
Sector: Accommodation, Hotel, Residential property
Salary: up to €55,000 plus bonus
Very exciting opportunity for a Regional Manager / Senior General Manager / multi-unit manager to join the team of this leading accommodation provider developing their concept in Italy. With sites in key cities such as Florence and Bologna, they are looking to continue expending and opening new properties across the country.
Key responsibility
- Be a support to the General Managers and ensuring key performance indicators and a range of objectives are met.
- Maximise income and achieve / exceed the financial goals by ensuring high performance from the managers and their teams.
- Be an ambassador for the brand and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, 3rd parties, contractors, etc.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and Security regulations and legislations
- Develop and implement sales & marketing strategy with European Marketing Manager
- Support the HR division : recruitment, development of the team, employees reviews, trainings, etc
- Liaison between the operations and head office.
We are seeking the following skills/attributes:
- At least 5 years experience at senior level within a residential / student accommodation or hotel background
- Must have multi-unit experience
- Pre-opening experience is an advantage
- Experienced in developing and managing operational budgets and targets; producing weekly and monthly KPI reports
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Passionate about delivering great customer service
- Strong commercial minded, self-motivated and results driven
- An ‘out-of-the-box’ thinker, thriving in developing his/her team and portfolio.
- Able to work under pressure and fast-pace environment
- Good personality and great common sense
- A good team player who maintains a positive attitude
- Excellent computing skills
- Must have strong Local knowledge
- Must be bilingual Italian and English
