Working in conjunction with one of the most prestigious property companies operating in the UK today, Cobalt is seeking an Assistant Building Manager to join the on-site team for a landmark commercial development. Our client is synonymous with managing high-end real estate, and has a consistent track record in developing their staff into industry-leaders, making them one of the best homes for any ambitious FM looking to leave their mark.
Forming a crucial part of the on-site management team of this trophy building, your key responsibilities will include:
- Working in conjunction with the Building/General Manager in order to deliver a first-class FM service for your occupiers;
- Assisting with the management of service charge budgets;
- Assisting with the management of outsourced suppliers, taking responsibility for managing set service lines independently in time;
- Conducting regular site inspections;
- Helping to ensure the effective maintenance of building plant and fabric on-site, ensuring a comprehensive PPM programme is in place;
- Ensuring full H&S compliance within the development.
Our client is looking for an individual from a real estate background, ideally as either an Assistant FM or Facilities Coordinator which will have given you the foundation of knowledge to build upon in this role. Experience managing entire buildings including common areas and plant room is essential, whilst equally importantly will be your "soft-skills" of people management and customer service. An IOSH qualification would be beneficial.
