Shift Engineer - Electrically Biased
West Thurrock
£38,000 - £39,000+ Overtime
Shift Pattern - 2days / 2 nights (4on 4off)
We currently have a great opportunity for a Shift Engineer to work on a large manufacturing site in West Thurrock for a globally renowned Facilities Management company.
They provide an extensive range of Built Asset Solutions to the commercial sector, with a wealth of highly trained experience personnel. They cover all Mechanical, air conditioning, electrical, BMS and the full building services package. They can offer excellent training, career progression and a stable and secure employment.

Job specific responsibilities:
Essential
- Recognised multi-skilled, electrical apprenticeship
- Flexible approach, must be able to work alone and within a team
- Self-motivated
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Desirable
- Experience working with commercial boilers
- Good knowledge of HP air compressors
- Familiarity working on pumps
- Experience in multi-skilled manufacturing
- Electrical Engineer will be working on steam boilers, water effluent and wider utilities
Qualifications / Experience:
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent with either an electrical or mechanical bias
- 18th Edition (Desirable)
- Working as a Mechanical or Electrical building services engineer in a commercial environment
- Good knowledge of building services
- Excellent team working, customer care and problem-solving capabilities
