Our client are a global organisation with an established footprint in the UK hard services (M&E) contract maintenance marketplace and are responsible for some of London's most prestigious developments.
On one such development, they are seeking to employ an experienced Technical Account Manager to be responsible for three significant buildings.
The role will entail the management of the planned preventative maintenance regime, reactive tasks plus any additional project work. Therefore it is essential that you have had formal training in preferably electrical engineering and have recent experience in a building services maintenance arena and demonstrable experience of running a significant multi-tenanted building with high profile clientele. As the buildings have many clients from the financial services sector, it would be advantageous if you have also experience in working within a critical engineering environment such as data centre where 100% up time is a necessity.
You will be responsible for the daily running of the sites supported to an extensive team of engineers, supervisors and administrators as the role will encompass all commercial aspects of the contract being accountable for the contracts £2M P&L.
With an eye for detail, you will ensure that all legally required documentation (O&M manuals/water testing regime/black-out building tests, etc) are maintained, that the appropriate risk assessments, method statements are correct before sub-contractors are allowed to operate on-site, etc
Lastly but by no means least, you must have enhanced people skills both in managing your team but also client relationships as you will have some exceedingly prestigious but also demanding customers who rightfully expect a 'Rolls Royce' service.
Salary on offer is in the region of £60-62,000 plus private health care, pension, etc
