We are recruiting for a procurement / commodity lead to join an established M&E and Facilities Management company in providing coordination and management of supply chain and tender compliance etc.
The role is a permanent position paying circa 45k plus car or car allowance. Mon-Fri 40 hours per week.
There will be working from home and office based options (North West England).
To provide and manage a strategic supply chain, through strategic planning, performance measurement and risk management
Duties
Create, manage and implement commodity strategies, which supports the business and customer requirements
Lead cross-functional project teams with key stakeholders for the tender process of assigned commodities
Negotiate and deliver cost savings through strategic tools, negotiation skills and e-auctions
Identify, select, develop and manage the supply chain to support future business through evaluation process, ongoing performance measurement, contract review
Manage supply market and supply chain research programmes to support the commodity portfolio
Provide clear communication lines to ensure that the business is made aware of all strategic initiatives
Integration of ISO Sustainable Procurement requirements
Person Specification
Previous Commodity Management experience within FM services preferable
Knowledge and experience of Commodity Strategies, Strategic Sourcing and implementation of framework agreements
Experience in stakeholder engagement
Strong presentation, and influencing skills
Sustainable Procurement knowledge
MCIPS preferred
Valid full driving licence
Requirement for UK wide travel
