Our client is a forward-thinking Facilities Management provider who operate nationally. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager who has previously sold Security services into commercial and public sectors.
This is fantastic opportunity join a growing facilities services business who area leading name in their chosen market.
Key Requirements
- Developing and maintaining our market knowledge capability, ensuring we understand our chosen markets better than any competitor.
- Developing business relationships across commercial and public sectors
- Targeting our hunting effort appropriately – right customers, right time, right services, right contacts.
- Building a strong sales pipeline, achieve order intake targets in each of our chosen market sectors.
- Achieve minimum margins requirements.
- Building pipeline for single and multiple site cleaning, security and bundled services
- Attending relevant market events
- Developing new sectors
- Work closely with the operations team to identify new service stream opportunities with existing customers
- Conducting presentations to potential clients
- Lead re-tenders and multiservice proposals and develop and map relationships with existing clients to gain incremental business
- Play a key role in the production and delivery of innovative tender documentation and presentations.
- Liaise with the bid management team

- Ensure that we are our target customers’ first choice for meeting their needs. Be a visible Champion for quality and customer service, rolling your sleeves up where necessary.
Person
- Strong sales or business development experience within Facilities Management/Soft Services, preferably selling to manufacturing or professional corporate clients
- Good overall understanding of the Soft Services (Cleaning/Security/Catering) and Facilities Management market sector
- Ability to listen, understand and generate a solution to client needs
- Positive mental attitude
- Be commercially aware with total commitment to customer service and development
- Good communication, organisational and analytical skills
