Trainee Commissioning Engineer
£31k - £37k plus car and great benefits

If you're from a software background but are looking for a job that's more than being chained to a desk, where you're face to face with the real world effects of your code and you get the opportunity to develop new skills on a daily basis this is the job for you.
Coming into our digital energy team you'll be given full support and training to develop your talents in C# whilst working on innovative projects for clients around the Midlands. Your role will be a mix of visiting client sites to get hands-on with our tech, collaborating with colleagues in the office to find solutions and occasionally working from home.
Ultimately you'll be designing, installing and testing bespoke building management systems across a range of environments. Each site will be different; from a small laboratory complex in Swindon to a large university campus in Bristol you'll become adept at analyzing critical factors and planning them into our systems.
For every client you'll be the person that ensures their sites are running as energy efficiently as possible, doing your bit to save the planet.

We don't need you to have been a Commissioning Engineer before or even know your way around a BMS, we can teach you that. What you will need is a background in software development or engineering, ideally in C#. If you've programmed PLCs, automated controls or SCADA systems before that's a great place to start.
A basic idea of electrical engineering would be a bonus too.
