A leading NHS organisation is looking to appoint a senior Estates and Facilities professional, responsible for the provision of Hard FM Services across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage the provision of Hard FM services across all organisation’s sites according to contractual and commercial requirements. Including contract and commercial management, people management and ensuring that the service is of a sector leading standard;
- Serve as the main point of contact for the organisation on all contractual matters, ensuring compliant execution of contract terms, negotiation on all contract matters and variations, and evaluating and managing consistent and effective contract performance;
- Represent Estates & Facilities at Trust Health & Safety, Non-clinical risk group meetings or committees;
- Develop and maintain an Estates Risk Register ensuring high risks are included within the corporate Trust risk register;
- Ensure 6 facet surveys, building condition and infrastructure inspections are completed;
- Appoint Authorising Engineers or Independent advisors ensuring annual audits and inspections are completed in accordance with statutory and mandatory compliance;
- Continually manage and monitor performance in relation to the Trusts’ contracts ensuring targets are met and outcomes achieved;
- Line management of Estates Team agreeing annual objectives in their PDP’s, holding regular appraisals and ensure that training needs are identified, and development opportunities are offered as appropriate;
- Be an effective member of the Estates and Facilities Team, demonstrating a commitment to the Trusts’ strategic objectives and visions.
A successful candidate will have:
- Chartered Engineer or Equivalent Qualification(s)
- Professional engineering/construction knowledge acquired through a degree or equivalent, plus specialist knowledge acquired through post-graduate courses;
- Significant senior management experience in an NHS Estates, working within the facilities management profession at a senior level;
- Experience in managing complex technical issues within a sensitive environment;
- Hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car to use for business purposes.
